EVALUATIONS

Performed by Director of Player Development, former NBA player Craig Brackins, Evaluations take place at Iron Courts weekly. The evaluation assesses the athlete’s current level, strengths/weaknesses, and goals. All players 10 & up are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to be evaluated before training at Iron Courts. At Iron Courts, we have a unique and specific approach to evaluate players and fast track them to excellence. We evaluate athletes in ten (10) core areas that include competitiveness, fundamentals, intangibles and basketball IQ.

We have two types of evaluations at Iron Courts. We have Open Combine Evaluations done during our academy sessions. These are the best way to start at Iron Courts. They are helpful for learning which areas to focus on and which skill group they should be in. It is also great for re-evaluations and for graduating to the next level. Evaluations will take approximately two sessions. Academy Members can purchase evaluation or re-evaluation for just $49.

We also have Workout Evaluations geared for one to four athletes done during the week. These are for elite athletes not participating in the academy. These evaluations help players identify goals and areas to work on, and provide them with additional access to former NBA Player Craig Brackins to mentor them long term. Evaluations take 30-45 mins and done with 1-4 athletes at a time.

Evaluations are completed by former NBA Pro Craig Brackins. They can be done as Open Combine or Workout.

Following the completion of your evaluation, you will receive a printed copy of your report and the next steps to continue training!

What do I need to bring to my evaluation?

Basketball shoes and athletic clothes.

Do I need an evaluation to train at Iron Courts?

We STRONGLY RECOMMEND an evaluation for all players ages 10+. This will allow us to properly plan their training regimen at Iron Courts. Evaluations can be done as Open Combine or Workout (see above).

Why do I need an evaluation?

Our evaluation assesses the skill level of a player and since our training groups are divided by skill rather than age or gender, we can more accurately place them in an appropriate training group. Our evaluations are done by former NBA player Craig Brackins and will help players clarify and achieve their goals.

How much is an evaluation?

Led by Former NBA Pro Craig Brackins, the evaluation, printed copy of report, and training plan is $99. This is done as Open Combine (in 2 sessions) or Workout (30-45 mins with 1-4 athletes). Academy Members can purchase evaluation or re-evaluation for $49.
