FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

Will there be mandatory school work or practices after 3 p.m.?

No. The advantage of Iron Prep Academy is that students can be done with both school and sports by 3 PM, allowing evenings to be spent with family — no exceptions.

How much is the school itself?

Program dues vary based on the athlete’s selected program, academic pathway, and level of participation. Iron Prep offers multiple options, including Select, Development, Premier Prep, and homeschool/ESA pathways. Please contact our team to discuss the best fit for your athlete and receive current program dues information.

For many families, Iron Prep replaces monthly club basketball dues, team fees, performance training fees, and lunch expenses while providing a structured academic and athletic development program under one roof.

Why Does Iron Prep Use Premier Prep Instead of ESA?

Iron Prep partners with Premier Prep to provide an accredited academic program while allowing student-athletes to participate in daily basketball and performance training. Through this partnership, families receive a significantly reduced program cost compared to a traditional private academy or homeschool model while maintaining academic accountability and support.

Is Homeschooling or ESA an Option?

Families may choose a homeschool, ESA, or alternative educational pathway instead of the Premier Prep partnership. Program dues, educational responsibilities, and overall costs vary depending on the athlete’s academic pathway and level of participation. Families selecting a homeschool or ESA option assume responsibility for their athlete’s academics and educational oversight.

For this reason, many families find the Premier Prep partnership to provide the best combination of affordability, accountability, and convenience. Please contact us to discuss the educational pathway that best fits your family’s needs.

Are scholarships available?

Iron Prep does not offer a traditional scholarship program. However, limited financial assistance may be available for families with demonstrated financial hardship.

The primary avenue for tuition assistance is through the Iron Courts Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that allows donors to support specific athletes and families.
