Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release or Soft Tissue Mobilization is the application of a controlled force to the soft tissue (myofascial) structures in a specific direction to stretch the tissues for the purpose of sectoring or enhancing normal mobility of a restricted region. The goal is to stretch the elastic component of fascia, decrease the viscosity of the ground substance, allow the tissue’s increased flexibility and improve function
Indications: Limited ROM, poor flexibility, restricted joint play, adhesions, scars, spasm, or pain.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization
Functional Movement Techniques using Blades. Instrument-assisted techniques have been demonstrated to have a beneficial effect on the management of pathological adhesions and in speeding up healing rates via mechanical and neurologic mechanisms on cellular, vascular and neurophysiological responses. The goal is to reduce myofascial restrictions by mobilizing adhesions and improving muscle function.
Indications: Repeated strain, poor collagen production, myofascial pain, restriction & dysfunctional movement, poor recovery time, hypomobility or lack of tissue glide, musculoskeletal imbalances, chronic pain conditions, or tendonitis.

Cupping
This remarkable therapy employs negative pressure, rather than tissue compression, for superior results in the wide array of bodywork techniques. By creating suction, this therapy releases rigid soft tissue, drains excess fluid and toxins, loosens adhesions, lifts connective tissue, and brings blood flow to stagnant skin and muscles.
Indications: Increased circulation to the skin, removal of toxins, increases blood flow and removes congestion in various musculoskeletal structures, increases metabolic processes within blood circulation, reduces hypersensitive pain, digestive stimulation, improving joint ROM, and effective against general malaise, depression, headaches, anxiety, body pain, and fatigue.

Kinesiology Taping
Kinesiology Taping is a rehabilitative, therapeutic modality based on the body’s own nature healing processes. It exhibits its efficacy through the activation of the neurological and circulatory systems. When a muscle is inflamed, swollen, or stiff due to fatigue, the space between the skin and muscle becomes compressed, constricting lymphatic fluid, compressing nerves, and causing pain. By applying a nonrestrictive elastic tape, you can decompress the fascia, increase circulation, and decrease pain. When taped in various directions and tape tensions, you can also facilitate a muscle.
Indications: Support muscle, remove congestion to the flow of bodily fluids, activates endogenous analgesic system, and corrects joint problems, increases ROM, reduces inflammation, decreases risk of cramps, and reduces pain.

Blood Flow Restriction Training
Blood Flow Restriction Training is the brief and intermittent occlusion or restriction of arterial and venous blood flow that is performed by applying a tourniquet affect to the upper or lower extremity. This restriction results in physiological changes that mimic changes associated with high intensity exercise without the intensities that are usually required. By utilizing low intensity resistance at sub-maximal levels, it augments skeletal muscle growth and cardiovascular endurance
Indications: Aid in recovery, effective in improving cardiovascular function, treatment and recovery from musculoskeletal injuries or disabilities, effective in increasing strength, effective in rehabilitation/pre-habilitation, improves bone density, effective in creating hypertrophy, and effective in attenuating atrophy.

PNF
Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation is a specific treatment technique for developing the neuromuscular mechanism through stimulation of the proprioceptors. PNF is a holistic approach, integrating sensory, motor and psychological aspects of rehabilitation. It was designed to attempt to utilize proprioceptive reflexes (from spindles, GTO, etc.), in combination with voluntary contractions by the patient, to produce facilitation of the neuromuscular system (motor neurons and muscles). Perhaps best used to decrease deficiencies in strength, flexibility, and coordination in response to demands placed on the NM system. It incorporates reflex activities either inhibiting or facilitating as appropriate. Strength of the muscle contraction is directly proportional to the activated motor units.
Indications: Improve ROM, correct muscle imbalances, strengthen and/or stretch tissue, decrease pain, and decrease injuries.
